Fitowool Premium Wool Pellets – For Tomatoes and Garden Vegetables quantity
Pellets made from sheep wool and organic minerals (alginite) are a natural complex nutrient and microelement concentrate that allows you to grow juicy, tastier and more nutritious tomatoes and vegetables. Its high nitrogen content is slowly released, ensuring a balanced nutrient supply and more yields throughout the season. The pellets can absorb three times the amount of water, thus helping to preserve soil moisture for plants during dry, droughty periods. An excellent additive when mixed with compost or other low-nutrient mulch materials (e.g. straw, grass clippings). The nutrients and humus substances produced during its decomposition create healthy and well-structured soil. It is free of artificial fertilizers and chemicals, free of weed seeds, helps restore the neutral pH of acidified soil and can also be used in organic farming.
Sprinkle the basic amount of pellets into the planting hole, then sprinkle the additional amount around the plants in the middle of the season and work it in lightly! A heaped tablespoon is 15 g, a handful is about 40 g of wool pellets. Add the mixture into the planting hole or use it to mulch around the plants!
For nutrient supplementation:
• When sowing or planting tomatoes, peppers, cabbages, squashes (cucumbers, pumpkins, melons, zucchini, patissons), potatoes, 150 g/m², as a supplementary fertilizer, evenly worked into the soil and then watered in,
• When sowing or planting root vegetables, leafy vegetables, herbs, 100 g/m², as a supplementary fertilizer, evenly worked into the soil and then watered in,
• When sowing or planting radishes, beans, peas, onions, lettuce, 70 g/m², as a supplementary fertilizer, evenly worked into the soil and then watered in.
