What is MicrOil good for?
During the winter, many harmful insects and fungi overwinter on plants, from where they gain new strength during the spring warming and begin their damaging activity on plants. The MicrOil oil-containing product is not harmful to plants, humans or the environment.
How to apply and how does the MicrOil oil product work?
In the home garden, we mix 0.3 dl of oil with 10 liters of water and spray it on trees or other plants. The oil forms a film-like coating, so the insects or their eggs on the plant can no longer breathe and die.
Why should I choose the MicrOil oil product for my plants?
The product contains sunflower oil in a micro-emulsion system, which is stabilized by surfactants. That is, surfactants help to make otherwise insoluble water and oil miscible.
This micro-emulsion allows for a thinner oil film to be created on the plant, so the dosage is much lower than with traditional oils and it will be less phytotoxic to the plant.
The product is less sensitive to water temperature, pH and hardness than non-micro-emulsion products.
When should MicrOil be applied?
Autumn wash-off treatment after leaf fall, or spring wash-off at the end of winter during bud break, when insects and fungi “come out”. It is recommended to repeat the treatment after 1-2 weeks.
Which insects can this treatment be effective against?
It is primarily effective against smaller insects, such as lice, fleas and mites. It has a repellent (deterrent) effect on larger ones.
What other active ingredients does MicrOil contain?
Nettle extract: high silicon content strengthens the leaves and activates the immune system. It makes plants resistant to insect attacks.
Other plant extracts: which have insect repellent and immune-boosting effects.
What is the recommended dosage?
In large-scale farms: 0.15-0.3 l/100 liters of water (lower dose mixed with other products)
In the home garden 0.25-0.3 dl/ 10 liters of water (1dl is enough for 3-4 sprays with 10 liters of water)
Suggestions for use:
Avoid spraying in high heat (above 25 degrees). Ideal application is in the morning and late afternoon.
Try to spray the entire surface of the plants, including the underside of the leaves, because this is a contact product, meaning it must come into contact with insects and fungi
Shelf life: 2 years if stored properly
