Danuba Garden Blackjak leonardite based liquid humus 1l

100% organic, EU No.1 humus product, chemical-free

Dose: 2 dl/10 liters of spray liquid

What does humus-containing Blackjack help with?

The humus in Blackjak improves soil quality

It helps the plant's roots to absorb more water and nutrients

The advantage of Blackjak over other humus products is that it is not dissolved with an alkaline substance such as sodium/potassium hydroxide to make it water-soluble, but is crushed to a size of about 4 microns in a crushing cylinder equipped with diamond-hard knives

Leonardite is similar to brown and black coal. It is also mined in a similar way. Good quality Leonardite can be found in the USA, Canada and Australia. But, just as the Earth's coal supply is finite, so is the Leonardite supply.

How should it be applied?

The product should be diluted in a concentration of 1-2%, i.e. 1-2 dl Blackjak is required for 10 L of spray solution. The treatment should be repeated every 2-3 weeks. If Blackjak is applied to leaves, expect it to form small black dots that will later disappear. If we want to improve our degraded soil, we should apply a higher dose, up to 1 liter per 10 m2 area.

Why should I choose this?

It is worth checking what the active ingredient of the product is. If it is not listed, it may be suspicious. The best quality humus products are made from Leonardite. Leonardite is created from the carbonization of plants that died more than 10 million years ago, which is ground into particles smaller than 10 microns. Blackjak is made from 100% Leonardite.

The pH of the humus product is also important, whether it is acidic, alkaline, or neutral. According to the literature, we can expect the best effect from products with an acidic pH, because it is better for plants, nutrients are better absorbed in this range, and they can even be mixed better with other products. The pH of Blackjak is below 6, which ensures optimal effect!

Applying our product to good quality soil will result in minimal additional effect, if you are not sure whether the application of Blackjak is necessary, ask our gardening experts.

Storage

It retains its warranty for at least 36 months in its original packaging between 5-30 Celsius. It should be used as soon as possible after opening, but if stored tightly closed in a cool, frost-free place, it can be used for 6 months without deterioration in quality.

Detailed description

The humus in Blackjak can significantly increase the water and nutrient absorption and improve soil quality by bringing it to the roots of our plants. The applied Blackjak can provide ideal soil conditions for the roots of the cultivated plant in its environment, even if it is otherwise poorly supplied with organic matter, nutrients, or has a poor pH! Therefore, its use is almost mandatory in poor soils!

What is it good for?

You can treat foliage and soil with Blackjak at a dose of 1-2 dl/10 liters of water. The product is black in color, which disappears from the foliage in a few days, but it should be handled with caution next to sidewalks or white walls, because it can certainly cause discoloration. The product must be shaken before use, because it settles on the walls and bottom of the bottle. For this reason, it is also a good idea to rinse the watering can or sprayer several times so that not a drop of product is wasted.

What does Blackjak contain?

It contains at least 28% organic matter, of which at least 20% are natural humic substances (Humin, fulvic, ulmic acids and humins).

Blackjak has the only pH on the market that is optimal between 4-5, which makes it much more effective than other products that use sodium/potassium hydroxide (alkaline) extractants.

Blackjak is a strong black color, very soluble in water, but the bottle must always be shaken thoroughly and rinsed several times before use, because it is a suspension (solid particles floating in liquid).

How does Blackjak help plants and soil?

By introducing the humus in Blackjak into the soil, it can significantly increase water and nutrient absorption and improve soil quality. The applied Blackjak is able to provide ideal soil conditions for the plant's roots in its environment, even if it is otherwise poorly supplied with organic matter and nutrients, or has an ideal pH!

Blackjak as a biostimulant on the foliage!

When applied to the foliage, Blackjak has the following advantages:

the small-molecule fulvic acids it contains easily enter the leaf. In fact, if we add other substances, such as foliar fertilizer or absorbable pesticide, it accelerates their entry

When applied to the foliage, Blackjak increases the plant's nutrient uptake. Since this increases the concentration of nutrients in the plant, it has a suction effect on the water in the soil. This starts a nutrient and water pump from the soil and into the plant! This results in a larger plant mass

The result of this water pump effect is more intense evaporation, which cools the plant! This cooling of a few degrees results in the plant continuing to photosynthesize and build up its biomass

Almost all humus products on the market have a pH above 7. Humic acids - as their name suggests - are effective in a slightly acidic range. Blackjak has a pH between 4-5, which is ideal for its utilization, and is also ideal when applied to the plant's foliage together with pesticides. The best quality humus is named after the American geologist and researcher, Professor A. G. Leonard. These Leonardite materials are formed over more than 10 million years and can only be mined in good quality in very few places in the world. Danuba's humus-containing products are all Leonardite-based!

Did you know?

The best quality organic matter in the soil is humus, which binds nutrients and water like a sponge, and provides habitat and food for beneficial bacteria and fungi in the soil. The best quality humus is named after its researcher, Professor Leonard. These Leonardite materials are formed over 10 million years and can only be mined in very few places in the world.

Blackjack and nutrients

According to measurements by the University of Padova, Blackjack can increase the absorption of all nutrients.
