ellen® sport tampons are designed for women who wants to protect and keep good hygiene during bathing and other sports activities. The ellen sport tampon can be used to protect the vagina from external influences when you do not have your period. Ellen sport tampon has a low absorption, so in the short term usage it will not dry out your vagina. It can also be used during water- or other sport activity when having menstruation with little fluid. Ellen sport tampon will have the same absorption capacity of menstrual fluid, but after swimming or sports, it has to be replaced by a standard ellen tampon to protect from the menstrual flow. Sport tampons are made from natural fibers. Hydrophobic barrier is applied ont he bottom side of the tampon (at string) to prevent penetration of contaminated or chlorinated water into the vagina. Tampons are equal size to normal ellen tampons, but the absorption is the same as ellen mini tampons.

Instruction for use
Befor using the tampon, wash your hands.
1. Pull the tape ont he protective foil as indicated by the arrow and remove the bottom part of the protective foil.
2. Unwrap the tampon string and pull it quickly and firmly. Make sure both ends of the string are connected.
3. Remove the top part of the foil
4. Insert the tampon into the vagina: this will be easiest if the body is relaxed. Push the tampon into the vagina as far as possible. Tha tampon is inserted correctly when you can no longer feel it. This way it will not interfere while swimming or performing other sports activities.
5. Remove the tampon by slowly pulling the string. Please contact a gynaecologist if you fail to remove the tampon. Ellen tampons can hardly be felt, so always make sure to remove the old tampon before inserting a new one. Never use more thean one tampon.
 
Changing ellen® tampons
Insert ellen sport tampon before swimming, other water- or sport activities. We recommend that in the case of period replace the sport tampon immediately after bathing with a regular ellen tampon for menstruation. Before another water activity, replace it againg with wllen sport tampon. If you do not have menstruation and you use the tapon only as a protection against the entering of water into the vagina, remove the tampon after swimming.
