Vincotte is an independent and impartial service providing certifications according to ASTM D6866. Vinçotte is using both the European and US standards in system certification, and a perform tin accordance with the ISO/TS 16949. OK biobased is a certification system that verifies the origin of a product in a clear, reproducible way. This means: analyzing whether it emanates from fossil (petroleum-based) or renewable (biobased) raw materials (carbon). The investigation method behind the OK biobased certification is very simple and the value will be measured and calculated with high accuracy. This renders checks and re-checks very transparent and also allows “apples to be compared with apples” with the greatest ease.
